Palm Sunday,

the sanctuary for a service of special music and readings to prepare
for our journey to the foot of the cross.
Maundy

In a service
of dramatic readings, ritual movement and Holy Communion, we will
remember Jesus' last meal with his friends, his washing of their
feet as a model of servant ministry, and his preparation for self-sacrifice
on the cross. The sanctuary will be made bare in preparation for
our journey to the foot of the cross.
Good Friday,
March 25, 7 p.m.
This service
will feature a dramatic reading of the Passion story, with gradual
darkening of the sanctuary (Tenebrae), followed by silent prayer.
Easter
Sunrise, Sunday March 27. Gather at 6:00 a.m. Worship at
6:30 a.m.
In a simple
service of quiet prayer, simple music and meditation, we'll gather
on the church lawn to welcome the dawn, and celebrate the Resurrection,
followed by a continental breakfast in the fellowship hall.
Resurrection
Celebration with Holy Communion, Sunday, March 27. 10:50
a.m.
In a festive
service of worship we will flower the Easter Cross, share special
music, and come to the Lord's Table as we welcome the Risen Lord
anew into our midst.
(Note: We'd like everyone to contribute a fresh flower to the
Easter cross, so start cultivating your gardens to get them ready!
Some people will bring plenty of extra flowers to share, so come
even if you don't have a flower!)
