"Urgent Issues and Faithful Responses"

A Forum on Public Education at St. Luke UMC
Sunday evening, Oct. 23, at 7 p.m.
Open to the public

A gifted panel of local leaders will reflect on matters of urgent concern for students, educators, and families of our community, with suggestions for creative, positive action on the part of committed citizens. Time for questions and conversation will follow.

Panelists will include:

  • Amy Kincade, principal of Mathews Elementary, and a PTA representative from Mathews;
  • Donna Howard, candidate for the Texas House of Representatives and longtime public education advocate;
  • Bee Morehead, director of Texas Impact; and Heather Alden, of the Texas Freedom Network.
